1. According to The Films of the Ontario Motion Picture Bureau -- A Preliminary Catalogue, this film is listed in the 1922 Catalogue as number 114 in the 35mm section, but a different film called SUGAR BEETS is listed under the same number in the 28mm section. They are different films, not alternate titles for one another. SUGAR FROM BEET TO BOWL was a Pathescope film, but was not made for the OMPB according to the 1929 Catalogue, in which it is listed as numbers 2090 and 2091.~2. The Pathéscope of Canada Limited catalogue entitled List of Slow-Burning Pathéscope Films (5th Edition) has a film with this title under numbers C31 and C32 and lists the production company as Pathéscope.~3. The 1931 Ontario Motion Picture Bureau catalogue lists a film numbered 2063, a 1-reel Bray film, under the title SUGAR GROWING IN WEST INDIES, showing the process from clearing to final refining.
