Collection search - Central registry files of Atlantic Region Headquarters [textual record]

This accession includes annual reports, real estate files, and publications, departmental annual reports are bound and date from 1867 to 1947. A second set of reports are annual reports describing various works carried on by the department in various locations throughout the maritimes. These reports are each organized alphabetically by location and often are tabled and indexed. They cover the periods from the 1930s to the 1950s. The real estate files are in department of transport jackets. These files were transferred to the department of Public Works which then stamped them with its own file numbers. The files contain documents and correspondence pertaining to deeds, leases and surveys for various lands and properties. The publications are "Dock and Harbour Authority", a British publication. The records in this accession are currently under review for their archival value.

These records were originally held in Nova Scotia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
