This series consist of correspondence, notes and speeches. There is general correspondence here, but also correspondence with Joe Clark and with ministers. The correspondence often reflects thinking on very important political issues and themes. There is also a discrete block of records that would be better placed in one of the O.L.G.S. series. The file titles of this 12-file block of records lead off with this control element. These files deal with Senate Reform (1986-1991). They were left here, of course, because of the imperative to maintain absolute original order of files as they came from Senator Murray's office.

The speeches address various themes (such as the Constitution), persons or individuals, civic or academic events (Rotary Clubs, think tanks), political agencies (PC Caucus), various associations, the bar, clubs and so on.
