Description:

This documentary takes a look at the life and career of Canadian photographer John Max. Through interviews with Mr. Max and some of his close friends, it takes a deep look at his current situation (circa 2002): in his small Montreal appartment, crowded by his personnal archives and the numerous books he keeps acquiring, John Max is about to be evicted. The feature-length documentary examines his beginnings, his success in the sixties and seventies - especially with his "Open Passport" exhibition - and his fall from grace in latter years as he shunned exhibits and kept in recluse in his apartment. <94mn>
