La collection contient le « Kitchen Accord », dont l'ébauche a été réalisée dans une cuisine du Centre national des conférences d'Ottawa le 4 novembre 1981 par l'honorable Jean Chrétien, Roy Romanow et Roy McMurtry, respectivement ministre de la Justice du Canada et procureurs généraux de la Saskatchewan et de l'Ontario, l'avant-dernier jour de la conférence constitutionnelle de novembre 1981 sur le « rapatriement » de la constitution. Le document a été rédigé par Roy Romanow. Bien que cette proposition ait subi quelques modifications, elle constituerait l'un des principaux fondements de l'entente qui allait être signée par les premiers ministres fédéral et provinciaux, à l'exception de celui du Québec, le 5 novembre. Cette entente devait paver la voie à l'adoption, par le parlement britannique, du Canada Act (1982), qui contient en annexe la Loi constitutionnelle de 1982, qui elle-même contient la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés.

La collection contient en outre deux copies d'un certificat d'authentification remis à Roy McMurtry à l'occasion de sa retraite de la Cour d'appel de l'Ontario le 11 avril 2007.
