Intertitles read: "Southernmost of the West Indies, off the coast of Venezuela - Trinidad and Tobago."; Twenty-five hundred miles north - Toronto, Capital of Ontario, the Queen City of Canada" and "Home of the Canadian National Exhibition - A Great agency for fostering Empire and International trade." The film illustrates the many products being manufactured and exported from Trinidad, including coconuts, coffee, and cane sugar as well as molasses, rum and asphalt "From the world famous Pitch Lake at La Brea".
