Accession consists of ministerial correspondence which covers a variety of topics including arts and culture matters, communications matters, requests for grants, invitations to attend conferences, petitions, etc.

Between 1981 and 1983 the ministerial correspondence was organized according to two different records arrangement systems. From 1981 to 1983 the correspondence was filed according to a records subject classification system (boxes 1-25 and 30-35). Sometime in early 1983 until August 1983 the ministerial correspondence was kept in a sequential order according to the number allotted and the individual letter as it was received in the minister's office (boxes 25-28).
