This sub-series consists of memoranda, correspondence, reports, agendas, Cabinet documents, and other records relating to the Deputy Ministers Committee, which was created in 1976 to assist the government in developing a co-ordinated policy response in the post-wage-control period. This committee included ten deputy ministers and was also known as the DM 10 committee, with representation from all the major social and economic departments of Government. The sub-series touches on a broad range of topics and issues that were addressed at the Committee meetings and contains many annotated documents and handwritten notes.
