The program begins with a performance of the work Ritual, recorded by the Orford String Quartet and the CBC Vancouver Orchestra (Simon Streatfeild, conductor) in 1986; the program continues with the performance of Brott's following works: Songs of Contemplation (CBC Vancouver Orchestra under the direction of Mario Bernardi; Lyne Fortin, soprano); Shofar (Denis Brott, cello); works for orchestra Arabesque (Denis Brott, cello), Circle, Triangle, 4 Squares, and Brott's arrangement and orchestration of Seven Minuets and Six Canons by Ludwig van Beethoven (CBC Vancouver Orchestra under the direction of Mario Bernardi).
