General note:

According to a notation on the verso, this item was unframed in November of 1957.
This print published in 1842 as part of "Steele's Niagara Falls Port-Folio, Containing Eight New Views of Niagara Falls. Taken From the Most Striking Points." (The Winkworth Collection of Canadiana includes a complete Port-Folio. See R9266-4519; MIKAN 3843154) These lithographs were executed by Hall & Mooney. Seven of the views, including this one, are after William Barlett.
