Focussing on music with religious elements, the programme includes: Chorale, from Easter Cantata (composed by J.S. Bach, instrumental transcription by Leopold Stokowski); Anton Arensky's variations on The Crown of Roses (comp. Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky); Carillon, from L'Arlésienne Suite (comp. Georges Bizet); Promenade, and J'entends le moulin (both comp. Michel Perrault); The Trumpet Shall Sound, from The Messiah (comp. George Frideric Handel, arranged by Chotem). Both works by Perrault are conducted by the composer, with Chotem at the piano.
