Add to this the personal story of the Ohamas who were, as Japanese Canadians, faced with internment during the Second World War. They escaped from British Columbia and made it to Alberta, and then faced the unfairness of life under the War Measures Act and eventually developed one of America's most successful potato producing farms, only in the final years to leave it all behind.
