This series holds documents pertaining to the management of Smart's professional career. The material is from 1970-2006. It represents Smart's own management of her career as well as Sebastian Barker's management of her literary estate after her death. The majority of the material in this series was created after Smart's death by Sebastian Barker, her literary executor. The series is comprised of correspondence with a variety of publishers, including Lyrebird Press, Polytantric Press, Granada Press, Popular Library Publishers, Coach House Press, Grafton Books, Deneau Publishers and others. There is correspondence between Sebastian Barker and Rosemary Sullivan, Alice Van Wart, Denis Deneau, Elizabeth Taylor-Mead, and others. Contracts are also found in this series. This series includes documentation regarding Elizabeth Smart's estate, specifically verifying her will.
