Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Regional Office of the Medical Services Branch of Health Canada and its predecessors.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program, Zone Advisory Board, training, Indian Homemaker's Association of B.C., Native Police Liaison Community Program, reports, correspondence, Interior Native Alcohol Abuse Society and studies, counceling and education, needs assessments, and the UNN-Metis Association Development Corporation.

The accession also contains records relating to various First Nations Band including, but not limited to, Bella Coola, Kitasoo, Kootenay, Lillooet, Little Shuswap, Lower Similkameen, Mount Currie, Musqueam, Okanagan, Osoyoos, Sechelt, Seton Lake, Squamish, Chemainus, Cowichan, Nanaimo, Alexis Creek, Alkali Lake, Fraser Lake, Lake Babine, Stoney Creek, Ulkatcho, Skidgate, Kitamaat, and Kitkatla.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
