Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Operations Branch of the Pacific Pilotage Authority.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: acts and regulations; transportation committees; marine and pilotage policies; reports on bridges, oil spills, and double pilotage; plan studies for the Port of Vancouver and Port of kitimat; Canadian Coast Guard reports on standards for pilot vessels, standards and guidelines for helicopter facilities on ships, and national marine policy on harbours and ports; tasks forces and working groups; Fraser River Pilotage integration; grain logistics; and pilotage review.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
