The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to past employees, such as staff services records, birthdates and overseas records, records of employment, as well as Vancouver Harbour Commission (National Harbours Board) board minutes.

Custodial history:

The records in this accession were maintained and used by the Vancouver Harbour Commission's successor, the Vancouver Port Corporation, which itself became the Vancouver Port Authority and then the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority transferred the records to Library and Archives Canada in 2010.
