Series consists of records pertaining to various arts councils, museums, cultural and performing arts organizations as well as theatre festivals Marian Wilson was active with as an arts administrator, a board member and/or member . Organizations include but are not limited to: The Canadian Conference of The Arts, the Canada Foundation, the Canadian National Commission for UNESCO, the Canadian Players, the Canadian Theatre Centre, the Centennial Commission, Belleville Theatre Guild, The National Ballet Guild, Quinte Arts Council, The Royal Ontario Museum, Festival Canada as well as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Some of the records found in this series are those of organizations such as the Canadian Christian Drama Council (which will become the Theatre and Religion Council. It ceases its activities in 1971). These records were originally archived by Marian Wilson.

Types of records found: accounting files (samples), agreements, clippings, correspondence, minutes of meetings, news releases,notes, posters and programmes, press books, reports, surveys, tickets.
