Series consists of files for Gaboriau's translation of novels, short fiction, plays and other writings by: Ginette Anfousse, Michel Azama, Jean Barbeau, Robert Bellefeuille, Marie-Claire Blais, Lousie Bombardier, Diane Bouchard, Michel Marc Bouchard, Pan Bouyoucas, Chrystine Brouillet, Pascal Chévarie, Louise Dussault, Les Folles Alliés, Lise Tremblay, Normand Canac-Marquis, Normand Chaurette, Daniel Danis, Jean Marc Dalpé, Jasmine Dubé, René-Daniel Dubois, Réjean Ducharme, Michel Garneau, Jean-Rock Gaudreault, Gilles Gauthier, Gratien Gélinas, René Gingras, Robert Lepage, Henriette Major, Michèle Magny, Jovette Marchessault, Hélène Pedneault, Pol Pelletier, Pierre Morency, Wajdi Mouawad, Micheline Parent, Gilberto Flores Patino, Lorraine Pintal, Reynald Robinson, Jean-Pierre Ronfard, Michel Tremblay, and Lise Vaillancourt. In particular, the files contain numerous plays by Michel Marc Bouchard, Wajdi Mouawad and Michel Tremblay. As well, there are files for projects developed for particular theatre companies, or developed collectively/in collaboration : Théatre de la Marmaille/Les Deux Mondes, Théatre de l'oeil, Théatre Parminou, Théatre sans fil, A Clash of Symbols and Parasols. The series contain a number of files for single projects including: translation of screenplays by Lea Pool, Diane Poitras and Denys Arcand; television scripts of La Petite Vie (television series written by and starring Claude Meunier); radio scripts; translations for an NFB documentary; and translations of songs by Loco Locass and Luc Plamondon.

Documents include working copies of original plays; notes, drafts of translations for performance or for publication; final typescripts of translations and proofs for publication; correspondence with the authors of the original works, collaborators or funding bodies; publishers' correspondence, contracts and catalogues; press clippings, promotion and programmes for theatre performances and award ceremonies; correspondence and programme notes for particular productions or theatre festivals; research notes; shooting scripts, production notes and production photographs in the case of film adaptations. Audio and video recordings are included of performances of plays translated by Gaboriau.
