Item consists of a ledger entitled Record of Registration Numbers Assigned under the Proprietary or Patent Medicine Act. Ledger template headings are: registration number; name of article; name and address of manufacturer under the Act; file number; date of registration; date cancelled; remarks.

The ledger lists preparations with registration numbers from 4000 to 11462. The medicines registered include Sangeen Indian Herb Tonic, anti-panic pills, and so on. The remarks column in the ledger included notations such as: cancelled, analysis in 1948 and strychnine.
