North Fraser Port Authority (Canada) : The North Fraser Port Authority administered the harbour of the North Arm of the Fraser River until it was amalgamated with the Vancouver Port Authority and the Fraser River Port Authority to form the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority in 2008.

First formed in 1913 as the North Fraser Harbour Commission, its jurisdiction encompassed approximately 30 km of waterway, bounded by the Strait of Georgia on the west and the New Westminster Harbour Commission on the east. The harbour abutted the municipalities of Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster, and bordered the Musqueam Indian Reserve and the Vancouver International Airport.

In 1998 the Canada Marine Act designated the North Fraser Harbour Commission as the North Fraser Port Authority. The port authority functions included: responsibility for the navigation, supervision, regulation and control of marine traffic within its jurisdiction; supervision of the condition and serviceability of all port facilities and aids to navigation and issuance of permits for all works and operations within its jurisdiction (i.e., construction of projects, dredging, foreshore crossings, and the shipping of explosives); the issuance of leases for lands and water lots, licenses of occupation, and easements and rights of way; and the responsibility for the management of the lands under its administration.

In 2008, the North Fraser Port Authority was amalgamated with the Fraser River Port Authority and the Vancouver Port Authority to form the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, also known as Port Metro Vancouver.
