Volume 2 is a red cloth-bound album with a burgundy leather spine and corner accents. "The Gift of C. Berkeley Powell" is inscribed in gold leaf on the bottom of front cover, and "Powell Scrap-Book II" is engraved on the spine. The scrapbook consists of 50 sheets of light cardstock, and a back section that contains 13 sheets of lined paper. The looseleaf section is gradually becoming unbound, and the tissue paper that separates individual pages has become extremely brittle. Items in this album are not arranged chronologically. It primarily deals with military readiness and training at home and abroad, and includes sections on the Royal Military College, Kingston, military drills, training camps, and competitions across Canada, as well as in Britain.
