The recording begins with Cram playing the various segments of the Flute Solo, stopping at times to comment on and to discuss certain aspects with Somers, who is present. Cram then demonstrates and discusses various flute effects (finger clicks, harmonics, whistle tones, multiphonics, low multiphonics). Cram then reads through and plays the Flute Solo a second time, at times pausing for commentary.
