Imprimée en trois bandes parallèles, cette carte représente une étroite région formée par la vallée de l'Hudson, le lac George, le lac Champlain et le Richelieu, et qui s'étend de New-York à Chambly (Québec). Les sondages et les bas-fonds sont indiqués et la topographie est relevée de même que les villes et les routes principales sont marquées. L'auteur nomme la rivière Richelieu "Sorel River" dans le titre et "River Chambly" sur la carte. Autour du lac Champain, des notes rappellent des évènements historiques. Cette carte fut publiée pour la première fois en 1777, à Londres, dans The North American atlas de William Faden, no. 15.
