This is a base map showing highway control sections and districts. Population centres, Indian reservations, railways and some physical features are also shown. The following information, received from the Saskatchewan Department of Highways and Transportation, serves as a legend: "The black lines indicate Provincial Highways. The small circles indicate the beginning or end of a section of highway. Each of these sections is numbered as shown by the black numbers, for example, control section 1-2 indicates Provincial Hyghway No. 1, second section running from the west junction of Provincial Highway No. 8 at Moosomin to the junction with Provincial Highway No. 9 at Whitehead. The large shaded areas on the map indicate highway districts with headquarters in Swift Current, Regina, Yorkton, Saskatoon and Prince Albert."
