A survey of soils in the front Ranges of the Rocky Mountains, along the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Soils, vegetation, and landform characteristics were noted along selected traverses which covered the area from the center of the valley to the orographic tree line. Included is a folded map entitled "Soil Map of the North Saskatchewan River Valley from Banff National park East to Windy Point, Alberta.-1972" with additional maps and photographs throughout the report.
