Mario Bernardi is the conductor. The first piece is “Strings in Motion” written in 1961 by Canadian composer Jean Vallerand. It was first performed by the McGill Chamber Orchestra. Next, cellist Lynn Harrell and the orchestra perform the “Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in D major, opus 101" by Haydn.
