They perform the recently re-discovered work Concerto in C major by Franz-Joseph Haydn, Divertimento for Strings, by Canadian composer Oskar Morawetz, and the orchestral suite The Birds, by Ottorino Respighi. The five parts of The Birds are Prelude, The Dove, The Hen, The Nightingale and The Cuckoo. Divertimento for Strings was commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1948 and revised seven years later for the Stratford Festival.
