The Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton was divided into urban and rural areas for the purposes of this study. Maps in this report show vacant lands, future residential communities and population distribution, employment distribution, location of growth areas under study, land suitability, water systems and so on. Five of the fifteen maps deal with the rural areas. The National Map Collection holds a French version of this report.
