This map first appeared in manuscript form in 1759 and has been reprinted and redrawn many times since that date. This manuscript map appears to be a tracing of a 1781 print of the map which appeared in: Atlantic Neptune. This tracing is not a good copy of the map. For example, there are numerous errors and omissions in the text. It is recommended that either the original 1759 map be used or the Atlantic Neptune print of [1781]. Since there are no indications on the map of when the copy was made, the supplemental date is arbitrary.
