The port and environs of Quebec as it was when attacked by the English [in 1690]. 8.4 x 12.0.
This map shows Quebec as it was circa 1720. It appears to have been taken from a Chaussegros de Lery plan of 1720, although much detail was omitted in the transcription. The map bears the stamp. "B.O." (Board of Ordnance). Shown is the city of Quebec with some of the surrounding country. Buildings and fortifications are shown but in less detail than in the Chaussegros de Lery plan. The inset is a rough copy of a map published in 1683.
