This enormous manuscript map is closely based upon the Holland/Debbieg/Des Barres map produced shortly after the fall of Quebec. The area covered extends from Anse au Foulon to the Montmorency Camp. The battle of the Plains of Abraham and Ste Foy are depicted; fortifications, buildings and roads are shown. The map is unsigned, untitled, and in other ways incomplete. It was probably intended to be used as an exhibition piece or mural. The map must have been produced long after 1849 because Wolfe's Monument is shown. The monument was first erected in 1832 and replaced in 1849. The map shows nothing which many other maps of these battles do not show.
