Bruce Douglas, who works in the mine, saves the life of the daughter of his employer, Mr. Fanchild. In return, Mr. Fanchild sends Bruce to college and offers him a partnership in the business. Bruce, however, intends to become a minister to comply with the wishes of his dead mother. Mr. Fanchild, in a burst of anger, sends Bruce away. Bruce goes down to the "toughest town in Tennessee" to preach the gospel. There, his great personality and athletic ability help him to disband a gang and win the hearts of the people. The gang leader becomes a blacksmith. Later, the gang leader's daughter is persuaded to run away and marry a young man who turns out to be the no good son of Bruce's childhood sweetheart. Bruce sets himself to the task of straightening out all the various torn heart strings and eventually he succeeds.Language:Silent with English intertitlesNotes:Genre:DRAMADetailed holdings information: -
