General note:

Dorchester had ordered that plans be made for the establishment of a town on the bay (Glazebrook Story of Toronto p.10) and it is probable that this copied plan is one of those plans. Another apparently is in the Simcoe papers see Robinson Ontario History 1947 p.48.
Endorsed: Toronto.
Shows the beginning of the Humber River portage.
Copied by C. Pettigrew at P.R.O. Feb. 1925.
