This map was probably lithographed later than 1826 - needs research.
The map shows the Shubenacadie Canal, roads and major buildings. There are notes on soil and vegatation. Tooley states that F. Hall made such a map in 1826; (The canal was surveyed in 1814-15, and construction started in 1826; it was completed in 1861). The map, engraved, was included by Joseph Bouchette in: British Dominions in North American in 1932 (V.2, p. 296).
