Notes from former database: "A common view of the fortifications at Louisbourg and the area surrounding them. The plan accompanied a pamphlet published in 1758 entitled "An Authentic Account of the Reduction of Louisbourg in June and July, 1758. By a Spectator." The pamphlet discussed the siege and eventual capitulation of the fort to the English.The pamphlet is available in the Public Archives Library; however, the map has been removed."
