General note:

This map shows the area of the Connaught Battery. Buildings are located and names, as are roads. Topography is also shown. This map is a photocopy of the original held by the Historical Sites Service. The supplied date is derived from a date which appears on the map in conjunction with the "magnetic north". The Connaught Battery was built between 1912 and 1917, probably for the purposes of preventing an enemy landing under Fort McNab. (piers, p. 63).
