The sub-series is made up of 83 files which were given file titles by Paul Martin's staff indicating that they contain material dealing with both the 1990 Leadership Campaign and the 1993 Election Campaign. Researchers should note that there will be similar overlap of material and of inclusive dates in other sub-series; however, these files were the only files which were clearly identified by their original file titles as relating to both campaigns.

There is one file with a selection of Paul Martin promotional material, a selection of miscellaneous material arranged by name of province and city/riding, and a larger selection of files dealing with candidate and constituency profiles. Material concerning an irregularity in the riding membership application process leading up to the 1993 federal election can be found in Volume 205, File 18: "[1990 Leadership and 1993 Election - Candidate/Constituency Profile and Miscellaneous - British Columbia - Richmond]".
