Item consists of a hard disk titled My Shadow [Mon Ombre] by artist Pascal Grandmaison. His film is a study in the meaning of the self-portrait. The film shows a male figure carrying his own image, shown on the screen of a small digital camera he holds in his hand. The work underlines the disconnect between the self and its physical representation and the paradox of never being able see how we are perceived by others.
