The sub-sub-series consists of correspondence dealing with requests for meetings. The material begins with two individual files containing correspondence for 1995 and 1996, and is then be followed by files with a mixture of correspondence and various "Master Listings" covering the period of 1995 to 2002. These Master Listings were updated at different periods in time, but will often duplicate information from earlier lists. As an example, a Master Listing updated in 1998 will not only include 1998 requests for meetings, but will often duplicate the same information as a listing that was created in 1997. The files include very little material other than the initial correspondence and do not tend to include any additional background material. There are very few written replies from Paul Martin or his staff; however, much of the correspondence will have hand written annotated comments upon them concerning how they were handled.

The correspondence in the files for December 2003 to October 2004 is the only correspondence in this sub-sub-series which is from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). It has been kept in this sub-sub-series to respect the original order in which it was received. The PMO correspondence can easily be identified as it will usually have a cover sheet entitled "Prime Minister's Correspondence Transmittal Form". In cases where there is no cover sheet, the "Correspondence and Issues Management System" (CIMS) number and/or the CIMS accession number has been written by hand on to the top right corner of the correspondence.
