There is only one traditional bound agenda book, for the year 1989, and computer generated printouts of agendas for the years 1989 to 1994. The agenda entries are quite brief and generally do not include any additional documentation or information other than a name, time and date.

In addition to the agendas, there is a single computer printout of "Lists of Activities" covering the period of 1993 to 2001. The majority of the listings are arranged alphabetically by name of caucus member, and will include the date, type of event, location, riding name and province, and a comments field. The last part of the list is arranged alphabetically by location, as these are entries for activities with non-caucus members.

The agendas for when Paul Martin was Prime Minister of Canada (12 December 2003 to 5 February 2006) have not been acquired by Library & Archives Canada and are not included amongst the material.

Researchers should note that scheduling details can often be obtained through the correspondence found in the Events Attended sub-sub-series (MIKAN # 4102245), sometimes including detailed itineraries. In addition, the digital photographs in the Prime Minister of Canada Photographs sub-series (Mikan # 4090315) are arranged chronologically, and can also be used to obtain very basic information concerning what official functions Mr. Martin may have attended with his photographer.
