A notepad labelled "Oka Names 1870-1903 & History", of approximately 90 pages.

This notepad includes approximately 60 pages of notes on Oka (Kanesatake) and general history, often taken from published sources. Some of the historical notes relate to events substantially earlier than 1870.

The remaining 30 pages contain genealogical data, with notes on individuals, and family names, often with the dates of birth/death and the family relationship between spouses, parents and children. It is impossible to determine if Charles Angus Cooke (Thawennensere) compiled these names during his field research, or based on his knowledge of the people, or if he gathered them from the parish registers.
