The sub-series contains a variety of compositional worksheets, sketches, and copies of works compiled together. Some relate to works in the Compositions series, but others are miscellanea. They include index-size sheets with jottings, ideas, drawings, notes, as well as an annotated (in colour) sketchbook comprising sketches for several different works. There is also a work for unidentified instrument in aleatory notation, A Tribute Piece to John Roberts (undated).
