The fonds consists of moving images, sound recordings, transcripts of pre and post-production material pertaining to the ten episodes from the Living Histories series. There are over 73 hours of video recordings and over 51 hours of audio recordings. The audio recordings consist of unedited oral history interviews. There are complete transcripts that accompany almost each oral history interview. Each episode of Living Histories features four senior citizens recalling their memories and participation in a major historical event. The episode titles are: Moving Experiences (immigration to Canada); Cruel Lessons (residential school); Out of Sight, Out of Mind (Japanese relocation and internment camps); Persons at Last (Person's Case); The Great Depression; Women at War; Hockey Lessons (Rocket Richard Riots); Pilots of the North (Bush Pilots); The Quarriers (Scottish orphans coming to Canada) and Home and Away - The Spirit of Newfoundland.

Hunt, Paul, 1937- : Paul Hunt has an intimate and detailed knowledge of all areas of information/educational publishing on a national and international scope. He was Director of Marketing in educational television at TVOntario (TVO) and he spent most of his career in publishing with Prentice-Hall and the Thomson Corporation. He was President and CEO of International Thomson Professional Information (ITPI), a group of ten companies located in Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom. Paul Hunt was also Associate Producer for the "Global Family" which was sixty-six half-hours of wildlife programming broadcast on TVO and other specialty channels.

Paul Hunt is the producer of Five Corners Communications. He created and produce the Living Histories series of ten half-hour television programs, to mark the United Nations International Year of the Older Person in 1999. Video and audio oral history interviews were conducted with older persons in Canada telling their stories and sharing recollections about their experiences as they relate to historically significant events. The Living Histories series, a form of educational documentary, was televised regionally by the educational networks such as TVO, SCN in Saskatchewan, Knowledge Network in British Columbia, and Vision TV.
