Scope and content:

Series consists of documentary films, on among other subjects, experiments in physics and in medicine. Included are The stream of life; The tin soldier and the dolls; Interesting experiments in physics; and Labour saving in the home. Also included is a film anthology of the winners of the 1968 Japan Prize International Educational Contest.

Series also consists of sound recordings including interviews with Gladys Reeves, retired photographer, conducted by Hugh Taylor, Karl Kaesekamp and George Brandak of the Provincial Museum and Archives of Alberta. Topics include: Ernest Brown, his career in photography, his participation in the Sons of England, his newspaper Glow-Worm, his museum of historical photographs, and his photograph and lantern slide exhibitions. Reeves also discusses her career in photography, and photographic techniques. Interviews were conducted in July 1966, and February and September 1967.
