Item is a volume of 7,680 pages bound in leather, and lists the numerical data that describes the 203,144 triangles that define the space occupied by the artist's body surface. The artist posed for three-dimensional photographic scanning, and this data is a numerically accurate description of the resulting images, listing geometric measurements of 12.1 megabytes of x, y and z coordinate points (x indicating horizontal, y depth and z vertical).
The volume is 50 cm thick and is bound in deerskin, the colour matched to the artist's own skin tone, and is stored in a custom enclosure.
This volume was produced as part of the mean body series by Nichola Feldman-Kiss and is contextualized by other works from the series, including i absolutely know i exist, a photographic installation piece consisting of 360 body scans.
