The remains of one red wax seal is located on the upper left corner of sheet one. Orange and blue coloured pencil underlining is present on the docket title. There are two blue print stamps stating "08139" and "Department of the Interior Jul 24 1879 Indian Branch", as well as a black print stamp stating "14704" on each sheet.

The document is laminated with tissue. Edges are torn, and pieces are missing. Upper edges are stained near the right corner. Most of the wax seal is missing. The document's ink is smeared. Fold lines are worn, dirty and discoloured. Four holes with some with wax seal stains are present in the upper left corner of each sheet, possibly used in binding the documentation. Brown stains are also adjacent to the holes on the back sides of each sheet.
