The document is on parchment. Red ink is used for underlining and a multi-lined border. There are 10 blue ribbons wrapped through the leaves and 10 red wax seals are located on top of the ribbon. Two pieces of red wax are on the back of two blue ribbons. The bottom edge of sheet five partially covers sheet one and binds the document together by means of ribbon and two straight pins hidden under the hem.

The parchment is very bubbled and brittle. It is also yellowing and dirty along the edges. The ink is faded and mostly illegible. Some of the seals are badly cracked with pieces missing.
