The document is on parchment. Red ink is used to underline and for the border. There are five doodem (clan, also known by the anglicized term totem) signatures and five red wax seals. A single grey ribbon, with seals, is located on top. There are also two red wax spots on reverse at ends of ribbon (possibly to secure ribbon to parchment).

The document is brittle. The ink is faded. There is also a "T"-shaped cut in the bottom edge
