The document is on parchment. Red ink is used to underline, highlight and for borders. The top edge of page one is decoratively cut, while the bottom edge is turned up over the second sheet and is held by two ribbons of parchment. Four green ribbons are woven through the parchment. There are 28 red wax seals, 7 each placed per ribbon.

The document is very brittle. Ink is faded in random locations. Sheet 2 on top of page 1 of text--impossible to unbind for photography as ribbons with stamps woven through both leaves.
