This sub-sub-series contains promotional material (greeting cards) and correspondence. Greeting cards received by Jean Chrétien were, for the most part, initialled by the Prime Minister.

The sub-sub-series contains publicly disseminated material (i.e. Christmas cards designed to promote the image of Prime Minister Chrétien, etc.), most of which uses Chrétien family photographs taken by Jean-Marc Carisse, official photographer for the Prime Minister's Office. Wishes received in this way, whether in card or letter form, provide a record of Prime Minister Chrétien's popularity and network of contacts. Lastly, certain files specifically concern the management of this correspondence by the Executive Assistant.
